Retail sales outlets and godowns

• 39 branch offices and 4 retail outlets in the state, each a self sustained income generating unit.
• 54 godowns and warehouses across the state, wherein the activities are storage of agricultural produce, and inputs.

Distribution of Consumer Products

• Undertakes supplies of provisions to PSUs such as BEL, BEML, HMT, Minerva Mills, Wheel and Axle Plant, HAL

Cold Storages

• KSCMF has two cold storages built under the NCDC scheme
• The cold storages have a capacity of 2500 MTs each.
• At present both the Cold storages are given on lease.
• While the usage at present if for storage of farmer’s produce, KSCMF contemplates future usage for marketing activity.

Pesticides Unit

1. KSCMF formulates and markets pesticides at its own unit in Peenya, Bangalore
2. The formulation is for its brand called “Sahakar” both in dust and liquid.
3. While the capacity of the unit is large, at present the d https://xjobs.org/ ecrease in demand has resulted in reduced capacity utilization to only 30%

Agri Gold Unit

• Agri Gold Organic manure manufacturing unit taken over from K.A.I.C on monthly rental basis of Rs. 1.5 lakhs per month from October 2005 subject to effect the sale of unit to K.S.C.M.F. Ltd at Rs. 1.9 crores.
